Save the Whales.hey, how did this happen? a thin person made the mistake of liking and wanting to kiss this girl even though she’s fat? it’s almost like he thinks she deserves respect, affection, and even a sex life regardless of how big she is.
doesn’t he know girls are only worth spending time with when they’re thin? doesn’t she know that she’s obligated, as Someone Who Is Fat, to spend her time alone, sexless, and unhappy, rather than offend our thin eyes by being fat at us?
quick, guys, we better remind them.
[not to be a bitch about it, and I’m not trying to be nasty. I just figure if we’ve grown up enough to realize that hating on people for their race or sexuality isn’t cool, we can figure that out about their size too.
and nobody say, please, that it’s their own choice or it’s unhealthy. there are an absurd amount of studies indicating that weight has more to do with genetics than proper diet and exercise, and being overweight (as opposed to being obese, which the girl in the picture is not) isn’t linked to medical problems — poor diet and self-care is. which thin people suffer from too. and even if it is unhealthy, so what? as kate harding says, if shame made people thinner, there wouldn’t be a fat person in this country. you can’t hate people for their own good.
eek, soapbox of the week.]
